Bruce joined Chambers & Co. Ltd. in 1973 as a junior appraiser and progressed to sales and marketing with the brokerage group and became a partner with management responsibilities. Ongoing education has resulted in the SIOR designation being achieved in 1982 and CCIM in 1997.
In recent years, with Chambers & Co. Ltd. and DTZ Barnicke, Bruce Law has facilitated the lease/sale of 3,500,000 square feet with a transaction value over $60,000,000.
Bruce is also active in association and community leadership including Past Chair & Commercial Director, RECO (Real Estate Council of Ontario – 47,000 members), Past President of Hamilton, Burlington & District Real Estate Board, (2,000 members), Past Director Hamilton & District Chambers of Commerce, Past Chair Central Canadian Chapter of SIOR, founding Board Member and Past Building Chair of Ronald McDonald House and past Director of Holimont Ski Club, Ellicottville, N.Y. and others.
Business concentration includes Industrial, Office and Investment brokerage, corporate real estate consulting and Buyer/Tenant Representation.
Most recently Dave has been servicing his clients at DTZ Barnicke Limited after working for a number of successful years in the residential real estate markets. Prior to becoming a licensed real estate Broker, Dave spent 20 years in the IT/corporate sector with both Eaton Bay Financial Group and Atlas Alloys. His considerable corporate experience includes user support, project management, budgeting, forecasting, system solutions and staffing.
Dave excels at identifying client needs and requirements, building meaningful relationships and executing a game plan to achieve client goals. He is a team player who leverages all resources for client success.
Married with two daughters, Dave is active in local community initiatives. He currently sits on his local Softball Association Board of Directors and is a
member of a local Economic Recovery group comprised of concerned business leaders. Dave is also a past award-winning member of the Caledonia Studio of Dance
“Dancing Dads”, an organization he became enthusiastically involved in through his daughters.
Adam Law joined the commercial team this fall and brings a range of skills to the team, including research and analytical abilities, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Adam is a recent graduate of Queen’s University, where he earned a BA.H in the field of politics. Having grown up with parents intimately involved in the real estate industry, Adam is leveraging decades of experience within the commercial team, continually broadening his skill-set. A self-motivated team player who demonstrates versatility and adaptability, Adam continues to develop and broaden his skill-set to provide value-added services to our clients, both present and future.
